Po Leung Kuk and the Foreign Correspondents’ Club, Hong Kong Charity Fund
Committee believe that everyone should be able to enjoy a fruitful life and be given the
opportunity to grow and develop without being hindered by his financial condition. In
the past nine years, the FCC Charity Fund and all benefactors have given the Kuk their
staunch support in launching various worthwhile projects which aim at benefiting the
underprivileged children and youngsters. On behalf of the beneficiaries, may we extend
our most sincere appreciation of the FCC Charity Fund for their efforts.
Through the award of the PLK/Henrik Nielsen/FCC Scholarship Fund, we have been providing financial
assistance to many needy youngsters in their pursuit of a higher education. The PLK/J.P. Morgan/FCC
Language Training Programme and the PLK/Merrill Lynch/FCC Children’s Learning Programme provide
language training and other learning opportunities to children under the Kuk’s care and those from
low income families in the community. Proficiency in English and Putonghua helps them tremendously
in their studies and in finding a better job in future. Moreover, the PLK/UBS/FCC Child Development
Programme at the Children’s Learning Centre provides additional social work support to the needy
children and their families.
All of these remarkable achievements would not have been made possible without the generous
contributions from the FCC Charity Fund and all sponsors. We shall count on the continued support of
our well-wishers, and together we can bring a better tomorrow for the underprivileged.

保良局和香港外國記者會慈善基金委員會認為，社會上每一個人都有權享受豐盛生活，每個人都應該有
機會發揮所長，不會因為經濟原因而令他們缺少機會。基於這個信念，香港外國記者會慈善基金委員會
和各界善心人士在過去九年，一直捐助本局兒童及青少年福利工作，持續推動各項令弱勢社群直接受惠
的服務計劃，我謹代表受助人致以深切謝意。
「保良局．Henrik Nielsen．香港外國記者會獎助學金」之成立，為升讀大學或專上課程的清貧學生提供
財政上的支援。「保良局．摩根大通．香港外國記者會語文培訓計劃」及「保良局．美林．香港外國記
者會兒童學習計劃」，分別為本局住宿兒童及來自弱勢家庭的兒童，提供額外的語文訓練和其他學習機
會，提升他們的英語和普通話溝通能力。至於附設於兒童學習中心的瑞銀兒童發展計劃，則為兒童提供
學習及情緒上的支援，希望更有效和全面照顧兒童發展的需要。
以上各項計劃得以順利推展，嘉惠有需要的兒童和青少年，實有賴香港外國記者會慈善基金委員會同人和
各贊助夥伴一直大力支持，本局誠意希望往後繼續與您們並肩手，幫助弱勢社群改善生活，燃點希望。
